Do you have faith?
Do you believe in God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit?
Do you believe in a higher power - but maybe you're not sure what that is yet, maybe you want to find out or maybe you don't really care.
Maybe you write 'Christian' for the census but haven't been to church since you were a child, or since you got baptised.
You might be one of those people who come to church at Easter and christmas, but don't think it's necisary for the rest of the year - or you might be too busy and weighed down with the rest of life's worries to remember those few hours once a week that you forget about it entirely.
You could be one of the people who do go to church on a regular basis but don't get involved, or..
Maybe you feel like there's them... and there's you, and you're on two different playing fields.
Your bible might be sitting on a shelf somewhere gathering dust, or you might be a dedicated reader of scripture. Maybe you have trouble with prayer..
OR You might be heavily involved with the life of your church, be in the center of a great community of followers of Jesus Christ, read your bible and seem to be the image of a 'good Christian.'
But the truth is, no matter where you are with your faith, there're always going to be struggles. There are always going to be people around you who don't agree with how you choose to live your life and your faith.
It's is, however, a personal thing. Only you know where you are when it comes to your journey and relationship with Jesus.
No matter how many sermons you sit through. No matter how much time you spend reading your bible.. it's up to you where you sit when it comes to your faith.
Don't be discouraged when people tell you that you're either not doing enough or you're doing too much - that's between you and Jesus.
The people you spend your time with have a big influence on you - do you have other Christian friends or friends that are searching for the same things that you are?
No matter where you are in your journey - don't place yourself into a 'level of faith' that others may place you into.
It's between you... and Jesus.
So don't feel discouraged - maybe you're at the begining of your journey or you've been at it longer than you can remember. We all face trials with our faith - it's a matter of perseverence and, well.. faith. Faith that God has a plan for your life; even if you can't see it before you now.
