We know that salvation does not come by works! If we have Salvation we are told "Work out our Salvation with fear and trembling" Philippines 2:12
Having said that, there are many people out there with great need. Many are hurting incredibly; many are lonely; depressed; some just need a helping hand and many other needs.
As a member of the Church have you ever thought how you can be of service. Do not wait for opportunities - Why not set them up? That is go out of your way to help, when you see a need. That need will not hang around for ever and when it's passed it may never return. It will be lost forever.
John Wesley was an incredible servant of God. His motto was: "Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as you ever can."
Galatians 6:10 says,
So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.
Remember "We are not here to, Do - We are here to, Be" Des C Arthur
So Today be of service to someone in need.
