G'Day Emily, I have been busy all day. When I get a minuet I'll write some more. But for now, I live in Australia, where? all of it. I have a house in S.A. and work in the middle out of Alice. and travel where ever I have to. I have taken services in Alice when the Anglican minister has been away. Most often I drive for the Clinic where I and my wife live. I would like to write on this site, evangelical and encouraging material. But for now
This is Tracka
God Bless

Hi Tracka (Tracka or Des?) It sounds like you lead an interesting life I have family in SA and have been there a few times but the closest I've been to Alice Springs would be... well.. a very long way away (Adelaide?) In any case, It's nice to meet you. When you say you've 'taken services in Alice when the minister has been away'.. does that mean you are a minister? Or an elder or something similar?

G'Day Emily, Let me share a little of the past. I grew up in Sydney, Served an apprenticeship as a Nurseryman, went through Sydney Missionary Bible College. Went through the Baptist College in Brisbane, (not being Baptist did not carry on there) went back to Sydney. Spent four years in Moore College. Was a curate in the Parish of Port Kembla. Spent about three months as Locum in the parish of Sutton Forest, (great Parish). Served three years with the Bush Church Aid (Leigh Creek). Back to Sydney, to the Parish of Erskineville (three years), then to the Parish of Abbotsford (four years), both very difficult posts for a young minister. We as a family shifted to S.A. and time went by, we have four kids (now grown up). So we have come to a community 218 klms west of Alice. Australia's equivalent to Siberia. We have a house south of Adelaide so we get some relief from the heat from time to time. I guess you can see where Tracka comes from? Before I get into the second chapter I'll close the book. All the best for Exams and future. I'll bear you up to our Father. God Bless You All This is Tracka

Wow Tracka, sounds like you've got quite a travellers belt on you. I'm sure God put you on those paths, to lead you right up to where you are now. As another member, I also welcome you to the Army of the One site, and hope you find yourself at home talking to us young ones.

Hopefully we'll slowly but surely build up our numbers - more so when I'm able to send more time advertising the forum (and am able to find relevant places to advertise).
And wow.. home made pizza is the best <3

That's the first Pizza night in over three months and they just kept coming. Just 26 pizza' last night, not bad. I think I might limit the number to 30 They take too much time. I spent most of the day making them and they were all gone in just a couple of hours. Though the object is contact with the people ;D They come in and read my books and watch TV, talk, jump on the lounge (that's all right it's not mine). Last night my wife put on a DVD of the guys playing band music in the rec hall, 30 years ago. They watched the little kids that have now grown up. Oh some of them where totally naked bit embarrassing, Aboriginals don't seem to mind. (it's a different culture out here). Anyway must go and do something else Catch you round the traps. "And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books."
John 3:16 - 18 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.
If we believe in Jesus we're already to be saved as our names are written in the Lamb's (Jesus's) Book of Life.
