Over the last two day Friday and Saturday my wife, son, friend and I went out to Boggy Hole Northern Territory. What a drive, If you like all the comforts of home, Electricity, Local shop, TV, Phone, Shower, Toilet, Roof over your head, forget it. The swag was almost like a bed but a bit lower down. Very snug.
Oh yes, we camped swags, open fire, cooked from the back of the Isuzu. We found a nice spot with flat sand and that's where we stopped. The track in was OK for four wheel driving, traveling from 2 - 20 Klms per hour in 4L - 4H all the way. This took two and half hours to go 31.2 Klms. Gave a chance to view the surroundings.
On the way back I almost got bogged once and got properly bogged one, had to dig the car out, lots of fun in the heat.
Over night the wind came up, no fun when your at ground level, in a swag. The swag got covered in sand and so did the occupants head. But we all survived. It was great to get back to the community and have a shower and get the sand out of the ears.
It was good to get out and see some of the stuff God put together when He spoke. Not many people have seen Boggy Hole, but it's there to be explored. So to our Father God is here. The Bible says "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: for every one that asks receives; and he that seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall be opened". Matthew 7:7-8
Our Heavenly Father has given His' whole creation for us to see His' Glory. This is part of His' general revelation for us to seek Him. His' special revelation is found in His' Son Jesus.
This was my weekend! What did you do?
God Bless you all
